Rallies and Dharnas were held at 7 centres in Ernakulam District on 23-08-2011 demanding strong anti-corruption measures including a strong Lok Pal Bill, Judicial Responsibility Legislation constituting Judicial Commission, Electoral Reforms, unearthing of black money, bringing back Indian wealth stashed abroad etc and resignation of Sri. Omman Chandi, Kerala CM being proceeded against by Vigilance in Palmolene graft case on the basis of a court order.
These were part of the All India day observation called by the 9 parties belong to the secular opposition.
